The tradition among most United Church of Christ congregations is to baptize infants.  When young people reach 7th, 8th or 9th grade we then provide a Confirmation program.  It is a one or two year program of study where young people explore the Bible, church history, and their own faith.  At the end of the program the young people receive the Rite of Confirmation in a worship service, where they affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and become members of the congregation.

The Half Circle Women's Group welcomes women of all ages. The name "Half Circle" means that the circle is open - there will always be room for more. Their meetings feature devotionals and lively discussions on relevant Christian topics.  They sponsor outreach projects and provide luncheons for families at the time of a funeral. Meetings are on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 pm from February-May, then September-November.

Since 1954, the Peanut Project has met on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7:30 am. By 10:30 am, fresh peanuts have been shelled, blanched, fried, salted, bagged, and delivered to the local Sentry  and Lake Mills Market Grocery Stores.   (Volunteers may order a limited amount from the church instead of buying them at Sentry or the Market)

  - 7 oz bag:    $3.00 ea.

  - 14 oz bag:  $6.00 ea.

To volunteer, just show up! We will be happy to see you. No experience required; on-the-job training available.

An adult choir shares the ministry of music during our worship services.  If you enjoy singing (or at least making a joyful noise), you are invited to join them as they rehearse on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in preparation for worship.

An adult Bible study group, led by one of our members, currently meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.  The group meets in a second-floor classroom.  Anyone is welcome to join them.
